The Tyler DeMarco Foundation and the Rotterdam community mourns the recent loss of Mr. Mario Spadafora.

As I reflect I recall conversations with Mr. Spadafora as we watched my son, Tyler and his grandson, Justin play baseball on the same Little League teams over the years. Tyler and Justin were (and always will be) best friends. Mr. Spadafora and I shared our pride and passion for those boys and that game. I also recall a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. But what I recall best is the spark that appeared in his eyes, the soft tone of his voice and the perpetual smile he carried on his face. I recall a true gentleman of gentle ways.

Mario too, is now in the arms of the Lord.
